Home Nations EVents APRIL & MAy and the EPFA CUP in august

HOME NATIONS EVENTS April & May

This April and May in Newtownards in Co Down, Northern Ireland, two events will take place at the Ards Blair Maynes Leisure Centre. The first on April 2nd & 3rd featuring the development squads of the hosts Northern Ireland, Rep of Ireland, England and Scotland. Following that on May 7th & 8th , the squads preparing for the World Cup and the Epfa Cup will meet in an invitational tournament at the Newtownards venue. All the matches will be livestreamed and good support is expected to attend and cheer the teams on.

EPFA CUP 2022 August 21-27

 The EPFA Cup will take place in Geneva Switzerland August 21-27  2022. The EPFA Cup is a new competition which will give our developing  and new nations an opportunity to test themselves against each other and  also provide us with a qualifying competition to progress to our higher  level tournaments.

Our Partners

EPFA are currently delivering a 4 year plan in partnership with UEFA to continue the development of powerchair football across Europe.  This work is focused around 5 key objectives:

  1. Growing the Game -  EPFA will continue to work to see powerchair football grow across Europe.  
  2. Building a workforce -  EPFA will provide training and knowledge to help NOPF’s grow.
  3. Providing competitive opportunities - EPFA will  implement and deliver a competition structure.
  4. Developing Governance and structure - EPFA will support NOPF’s to build a sustainable organisations.
  5. Administering the Game - EPFA will administer the sport of powerchair football across Europe.
